God designed us to live in community! When we’re connected, we encourage, challenge, and care for one another. At ACF, we do life together in different kinds of gatherings to fit your schedule and your spiritual journey.
As we connect in community, we engage, evangelize, and equip.
We engage in conversation and relationship as people enter or consider connecting at ACF.
We evangelize by sharing God’s good news through our story in these smaller environments.
We equip one another in spiritual growth, sharing the gospel, and being disciples who make more and better disciples.
Connect Through Daily Living
This is where the battle is fought and won in the spiritual realm. Nothing of lasting value would happen in and through us without the power of God, and God works through the prayers of His people. When we pray, we participate and cooperate with God in all He is doing around the corner and around the world. If you don’t know how to pray, don’t worry...
Jesus gave us a great model:
Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever! Amen.
Another way to think of this is the ACTS prayer:
Adoration—tell God how great he is
Confession—agree with God about our sin
Thanksgiving—thank God for what he has done
Supplication—ask God to supply our needs
PRAY
Although missions and ministry can’t happen without funding, giving is more about the heart of the giver than the projects they fund. By giving, we say to God “Thank you, I trust you, I honor you.”
Thank You
Christ followers give out of celebration rather than obligation—because they want to, not because they have to.
I Trust You
Giving reminds us that God is in control and that we gladly lay down every part of our lives to Him as Lord. It shows that we know that He is God and we are not.
I Honor You
Giving exalts God as the giver of all good things as we give back to him a portion of his bountiful provision.
GIVE
This option is not limited to vocational missionaries to other nations, although it does include them.
At ACF, we partner with ministries and missions both local and global to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to our neighbors around the corner and around the world.
