Eddie and I fell in love in the band at Howard Payne University and we married in 1991.  We have two grown children, Emily and Nathan.  As followers of Jesus, our lives are filled with adventure!  From the metroplex to deep east Texas to the Middle East, back to east Texas and back to the metroplex, God has faithfully led us every step of the way.  He has brought us through cancer, clinical anxiety, and more.  We now live in an apartment community as the Apartment Life Team, where we host events and love our residents.  I have a passion for children's ministry, and I currently serve in Awana at ACF.  I am also honored to teach the Grow portion of Growth Track.  Eddie is an amazing private math tutor and he serves in the student ministry here at ACF.

If you were an animal what type of animal would you be and why?

An albatross, aka gooney bird. This creature boasts one of the most majestic flights among birds, but its take-offs and landings range from comical to catastrophic.  My life is pretty much like that.  I soar for a while then I fall on my face.  It keeps me humble and dependent on God.

What do you love best about ACF?

Nobody here has it all together.  We share our joys and our sorrows.

What was your favorite cartoon growing up?

Looney Tunes.  Later in life, Animaniacs.

What are you listening to right now on iPod/mp3/radio/Walkman?

An eclectic mix of Air1, Jazz, 80's and classical. Anything but country, rap, or heavy metal.
