Awana is a global, nonprofit Children’s ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. The acronym Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). ACF Awana meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm during the school year in the ACF Kids Building. Enrollment is always open for ages two through 6th grade so make plans to join us this week. The first two weeks are always on us.
Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana has partnered with ACF to reach kids where they are and walk alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the Gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples. Come join us at our next club meeting to see the impact for yourself.
Children ages 2 through 6th grade can participate in Awana in four different clubs.
Puggles = 2 year olds
Cubbies = 3 & 4 year olds (the two years before kindergarten)
Sparks = Kinder – 2nd grade
T&T (Truth & Training) = 3rd-6th grade
ACF Awana meets Wednesday nights during the school year, early September through early May. Check-in is 6:15-6:30, and club begins at 6:30. Every club is made of three main segments: Handbook Time, Large Group, and Games & Worship. Club ends at 8:00.
All families start in the foyer of the ACF Kids Building (Bldg 2), checking in at the computer stations. From there, parents escort their children ages 2 – 2nd grades to their rooms in Bldg 2, and 3rd-6th graders to Bldg 9. At the end of club, parents pick up their kids directly from their rooms.
